Will this tire fit properly on this wheel?
I have 15x8 soft 8's with 4.25 BS, i'm getting 33x12.50's are these wheels way too narrow and do I need more backspacing for everything to work out okay?

No I beleive the backspacing is ok. The rims should also be wide enough I'm running 33/12.5's on 15x7 stock rims without any issues.

running the 12.5 on the 8" rim is a good deal. the bead will hold better when airing do. i've ran my down to 5psi and have had no problems..

I've seen people run a 13.50 wide tire an 8 inch wide rim. I'm wanting to run a 33x12.50 tire on my 15x8s and everyone i've talked to says it will work out great. and with a 33x12.50 tire and 4.25BS you should be ok. you might rub on the control arms and most likely will rub on the coil tower

yeah you will rub on the LCAs with 4.25" bs, 4" of bs would be better. im running 15x8 soft 8s with 4" BS with 35x12.5" KM2s and they rub on the LCAs, but im getting iron rocks critical path long arm kit soon so that wont be an issue after that

if you find that your tires are still rubbing after you install them, you could always put some wheel spacers on to help clear any issues you may have. take a look at Rigged Up Offroad: relatively inexpensive spacers with multiple sizes to get the spacing you need.
