may buy them if they fit.. I don't know what years and sizes fit what.

all xj's are 5 on 4.5 from factory.

 

yea they should fit just fine... all cherokee's ,97/06 wranglers and 93/98 grand cherokee's all have the same bolt pattern which is 5 on 4.5

 

all I know about the tires is they are 225/75R15

IF the bolt pattern is the same then YES it will fit. You will have no problem with that size fitting

 

You talking about the tires (rubber part) or the wheels (rims - metal part)? 225/75/15 are the "stock" tire size on most XJ's if Im not mistaken.

 

Dumb question time. What does 5 on 4.5 mean?

 

5 holes in a 4.5" circle

 

There are 5 lugs which are 4.5" apart, and yes those rims and tires will fit.

 

Those rims are called Ecco's and they will fit your XJ. 225/75R15 tires will also fit just fine.

interestingly enough, on 5 lugs you measure outside of one lug hole to middle of the one across. you do this only on 5 lugs, everything else measures outside to outside... weird

 

I wound up getting stock rims, sanded, primed, painted and cleared them tonight. Tomorrow they get some Grabber 2's..like Christmas for a kid
