i just bought a 92 cherokee 4wd 4.0 and it runs like a champ with 177k. it runs great all the time if you give it ten or more muinites between shutdown and restart. if you dont it hesitates. new cap rotor wires and plugs. im farmilar with the 4.0 as im replacing a 04 grand cherokee with a reman long block for my parents. so what would cause it? if i give it ten muinites it can drive 100 miles perfectly. it also has death wobble with new trackbar with moog bushing, new s damper and front shocks. also whats this neon injector deal as im into neons(built a boosted one) and have many neon injectors. thanks guys

 

The advantage to the Neon fuel injectors (Other Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth vehicles also use them) is that they have 4 ports on the nozzle instead of just the 1 port the 4.0 came with. Gives you a finer spray of fuel, and a cleaner burn. Also good for a few HP.
