Just picked up an 01 Cherokee Limited (First Jeep), and had a couple questions.

1. The turn signal won't stay on when I put the switch down, nothing happens. Once in a while, it's fine but most of the time, it does nothing. Is this a "Jeep quirk"? Could it be a relay or something, or is the switch itself prone to going out?

2. The windows all work fine... From the drivers side. None of the other switches will make their windows go up or down. No, the window lock is NOT on before anyone says that. Again, another "Jeep quirk"?

If anyone has any advice or tips/tricks or general Jeep advice, I'd appreciate it. Thanks a million in advance!!

The windows not working from anywhere but the drivers door is a habitual thing with the 97-01s. The window lock swicth malfunctions and prevents the passengers from beiong able to open the windows. You can try to replace the master switch with one form a junkyard but it's a crap shoot if you get a good one or not. The dealers what your first born for a new.

Awesome, thanks. There's a huge boneyard down the road from me, I'll check around there. If that doesn't work out, there's always ebay!

Well the turn signal was a simple $15 relay. Not as bad as a $50 switch!

Ill have to tackle the window switch next.
