wheres my power at?

so after replacing the fuel pump on my xj and the filter. i have considerably less power. it feels so underpowered. but runs fine. any guesses?

Filter on the right way? Check fuel pressures. If those are within spec, it's likely not related to you swapping the fuel pump (although rule #1 with issues after work done is: recheck the work that has been done)

Great, I have a Carter assembly for 97+ sitting in my kitchen right now, ready to go in my Jeep! Lol, you have a bastard-child '96 though. I would say it's possible you got the wrong pump.

i Lied i thought it solved it but i was incorrect. The fuel line from the tank to my filter was cracked and leaking but after replacement. My old xj still isnt what she used to be.
