Where does this line go
I have an 01 Cherokee and need a little help
Where is the green circled line suppose to go and why does the blue circled thing constantly click like it’s a pump running?

Blue thing IS a pump (leak detection pump). The clicking sound is normal.
Not sure on the vacuum line - are there any unconnected vacuum lines nearby? I've found the parts catalog to be helpful with getting a visual representation of the lines and where they are located.

I suspect the other end of that line will be found along the firewall - either the HVAC area or running to the reservoir. Regardless, check the 01 parts catalog or FSM for diagrams.

I think that round pump is the canister purge solenoid. That will click any time the engine is running after the leak detection pump runs it's leak check. It looks like that hose in between the the 2 circles goes into that harness, but I think it doesn't and that's where the yellow hose connects. Where is the carbon canister?
