Default wheel paint

anyone ever paint their wheels, if so what did you use and hows it holdin up. the reason i ask is because i got some used wheels today that really need work, they need to be sanded down and painted, now im not gonna mention what rims they are or what my waggy would look like if i just put them on the way they are, butttt i found one that looks just like my vehicle with the same rims hmmmm wonder who

I used cheap walmart paint without any primer but put on about 5 coats and it held up great.

I used the rim paint from advance auto parts and it held up great for 2 years. I lightly sanded the wheel and used three coats.

Go to eastwood.com, they sell a ton of specialty automotive tools and stuff, and they have a home powder coating kit...I think they have a plating one also...

Only problem with most all "Home Powder Coat Kits" is the wife gets mad cause you have to use the Oven to cook the item....

There's always the grill...... Or you can make a home baking unit out of some 55 gal drums and whatnot....

Hell, craigslist a whole electric range. Then you can cook up some food while you're waiting for the coat to bake...
