It looks to me like a vaccum line that should, if memory serves me, run around the air box and either hook into the side of the air box or into something on the intake manifold. There should be a diagram on the underside of your hood showing the routing of the vaccum system. You should be able to trace it with the diagram. Good Luck!!

On my 90 there is a block of vac terminals there by the power steering. That line (mine's also un-plugged), ends near the lower forward nipple on that. I think it use to go there and when the rubber "L" fitting went to $hit, I just capped off the nipple.

evap psi pump. builds pressure in your evap system to test leak down in your fuel tank for emmisions. builds up to 3Hg water weight and holds it till test is complete to pass monitors during emmision check in the computer.

Without it you might get high NOx at a smog check. If it's coming on and dumping exhaust in your intake when it shouldn't it won't run right. And last there can be a plane old vacuum leak if the right hose is off.

What is this? there's a hose that leads to no where.. Anyone care to explain what it is? Thanks.
