Next project for my 2000 is the exhaust. Should I just take it to a shop or order one from Summit? I don't have emissions should I Idump the cat?

Walker down pipe, your choice of cat/no cat and muffler then plop the walker tailpipe on it and your done.

BTW the older renix tailpipe is cheaper than the one listed for your 99, only kicker being the renix tailpipe doesn't come with a rear hanger setup vs the newer body style tailpipe would have one already welded on.

cherry bomb with thrush turbo muffler, welded together. Turndown needed for sound/ exhaust direction. Cheap, easy, not loud. Easily repairable after off road incidents. Front clamp point gives removability. R

The problem with your 2000 is the crappy 0331 head....Do some research, I can't remember if a pre 2000 exhaust will bolt up to a 2000 head. I know the head gaskets are different and you cant run a 2000 exhaust on a pre 2000 head. The exhaust ports are too small on the manifold and it leaks. Cant remember if bolt pattern same. Also how many O2 sensors do you have. If you don't wire them all in, the computer will not mix fuel properly and you will run a check engine light all the time even if you don't need emissions

There are four O2 sensors. When the cats are eliminated the procedure is to drill out 2 spark plug non-foulers and screw the down stream O2 sensors into the exhaust , It tricks the computer and there is no CEL. Done it many times on my Viper, Challenger and corvettes.Just looking it seems Edelbrock makes a performance head for these. but 'knock on wood' my factory head is fine.

Buy O2 bungs and weld them in the new header.

That's why there is exhaust shops.... or like me you can buy a pre bent stainless kit with 2-180's 3-90's and 3 45's and TIG you own custom exhaust.

I see one from Summit.

So I'm confused . Do I stick with a 2000 -2001 Header with 2 flanges or go with a single flange and add bungs for the 2 additional O2 sensors. I want to get rid of the cats.I have an exhaust leak, not sure if it's the down pipe or the manifold that has a crack.
