What would cause the injectors not to open?

Check the ballast resistor on the front fender. If damaged or missing, it'll get fuel while cranking but stop once you let the key click back to run. It can be eliminated and the wires connected directly together.

Alright so iv done alot of stuff to my jeep and still cant find out the problem. Iv torn down the whole wire harness and cant find any messed up wires. Like i said i can hot wire fuel pump and the fuel pump will work but still the injectors will not open. Anybody got a fix for this problem yet?? Please help.

Check the auto shutdown (ASD) relay.

Yeah, my thought on the Renix was that stupid C101 connector. It's original intention was to make the engine and body harness 2 separate pieces, but it's very prone to corrosion. Later models don't have it.

yes everything seems to be good and refreshed all the grounds. I guess im going to try and order a pcm off ebay and hope for the best. And i dont think i have a asd relay iv tryed looking it up but i think they started that in 1990 or so could there be anything else? Before i order a 200 dollar pcm off ebay.

don't spend that kind of money. Surely someone has an ECU. try buttstripe here on CF

when buying a pcm do all the numbers from mine have to be the same?? Some people say they all too be the same but other people say as long as its from a 1987 to a 1990 it will work
