What would cause the injectors not to open?

Beg, buy, or borrow a voltmeter and check if you have voltage at the fuel pump relay. If the relay is bad (or the pcm isn't triggering it), then you won't get the fuel pump or injectors working. I believe there is also a fuse and/or a fusible link that feeds the relay.
