I just picked up a 2000 cherokee sport 2wd, automatic, rh drive it has trans issues one being the speed sensor, and the other being a whining noise which seems to be coming from the pump or torgue convertor area. My dilema is I want to make it a 4wd drive but need to know what the best route would be as far as swapping out trans and getting a different trans and tcase or repairing trans and finding a tcase what trans will work

 

One way is to find a donor that has been wrecked but has the drivetrain you need,another option is the jy,the drive train does not have to come from a 2000,as you are not looking for the motor.
