Isn't it for the air temp sensor?

edit: nvm I the connection for the air temp sensor is different I believe.
It might be for the fog lights.

fogs would make sense. If that is a fog light seonsor hookup would I be able to take some fog lights and just hook them up or would they have to be specifically manufactured for my jeeps make and model?

Air bag sensor test... hit it with a hammer... if the airbags go off then it is an airbag sensor.

Just kidding... don't do it... well if you do please make a video so we all can laugh.

According to the service manual it's for the overhead console air temp sensor.

So there seems to be an equal number of ideas leading to 3 possibilities. So here is my idea: It allows you to connect temperature sensitive fog lights, that when broken set off your airbag.

Well I'm personally a 100% sure its NOT for an air bag sensor...

Well I'm never going to use it and was just wondering haha
