Default What are these

I've seen 2 Cherokees with these but both were on the highway so I didn't get a good look. It looked like a piece of metal about 1 foot long on each side where the bumper mounts. There might have been rubber at the end. Both XJ's looked stock so I don't think there custom.

Not quite understanding what you are describing. Were they on the front or rear bumper? Horizontal, vertical, paralell to the bumper?

No there off the front bumper. Its looks like its there so if you rear end someone, it pushes there car away. Its basically a piece of medal sticking out a foot from the bumper. They look like theyd be bad for wheeling, but if they come off easy it could save some money in an accident.

I don't think you are talking about the rubber blocks on the front bumper. I guess I haven't seen what you are describing.

Not unless you are talking about a "stinger" on a custom front bumper.

Are you talking about the black things on the front bumper? Those are on stock front bumpers.

There's 2 rubber blocks located on the front, and there are 2 end caps, one on each side of the bumper. The end caps just hide the curved sides of the sheetmetal.

No they stick out horizontally from the Jeep. I saw 1 in CA and 1 in CO and both looked stock. Maybe it is custom though

Something like this?

Or like this?:

They're both types of push bars.

its not a stinger or bull bar. they aren't connected, just 1 piece of metal on each side of the Cherokee were the bumper mounts that stick out horizontally. Basically a pole on each side

I'm not able to draw a pic on my comp. Maybe it is custom. They looked like they were there so if u rear ended someone, it would push their car away, or if theres a hybrid in front to you
