Just put an Alpine CD/MP3 deck in a couple weeks ago and would like more depth to my sound. I would like to have all one brand of speakers and to keep it under $150. That includes the dash, door, and the gate. What is the best out there that will sound good for the price?

the Kicker KS 5.25 on amazon are like 60 bucks for a set and there some of the best speakers i've ever heard. if you buy them from crutchfield or something there like 80 and them most other stores are like 120 for the same set.. So amazons cheapest and same quality product

I thought Clarion was the best I've heard in my jeep so far.
I've had Memphis/Kicker/Dual/Somethingelse/Clarion
Clarions were cheap too, were like 55$ for the pair, sounded wonderful.
Try Craigslist, usually tons of speakers, even brand new ones, for CHEAP.
I'm buying 2 6x9s in boxes next week to throw under my seats for speakers in the back seats
Should help the sound.

sony sucks, dual is absolute crap, clarion/pioneer are ok, kicker is meh.
best speakers for the money?
polk 6.5s by FAR. like 75-85 bucks for a pair, and theyll fit in the front or back with some massaging. sound is MUCH deeper than my old 5.25" infinity references speakers (130 bucks for a pair) only the clarity of the highs suffers (and im a bit of an audiophile)
anything with better sound will run you 150+ bucks for a pair.

Clarions are nice
Check Ebay and Craigslist, they always have some.
I think there is a Craigslist in the UK.
But yea Brand New I got them for 55$ for the pair... Used probably 20$
Not to mention the cover looked sick in the rear up top. Was My favorite ones, too bad I sold them with my last jeep... Wish I took them out.
