Default What plugs are you running??

haven't seen any threads on what kind of plugs we are using. Normally I run NGK's, but right now it's AUTOLITE platinums. My favorite plugs were the old AC Delco rapid fires from the mid 90's, but they don't make those anymore. So what plugs are you running?

88-98 Champion Coppers, 99+ NGK's

Don't over think plugs in the 4.0, these engines don't do any better (and some do worse) with fancy 2,3,4 prong platinum superman approved plugs, I've tried a few different kinds and good ole coppers run the smoothest and give me the best mileage.

I agree.

87-99: Champion copper plugs

00-01: NGK copper plugs are my #1 choice.. Some guys have had good luck with Autolites. Champions will run okay, but they get a pretty wide gap after 30k.

Thanks for putting the right years up, not sure what I was thinking when I posted earlier.
