Default what is it (pcm?)
95 xj country. 4.0 liter. auto trans.

Item in photo makes an electric arcing sound when I turn on fog lights (factory installed, I think). Comments & help appreciated.

I hope it’s not actually arcing your hearing. That is your PCM. Do the fog lights work? Have you removed that big connector to look for anything charred? Any loose connections around your PCM or fog lights?
