Are you lifted? If so you need longer ones. I wouldn't drive without them. It controls body roll and prevents you from going *** over tea kettle.
New cheap set runs ~$30.

Damn, that's pretty nasty! If you'd rather not roll if you make a sharp turn or something, you want a good sway bar. I still have my stock one, but I'm planning to get a V8 Grand Cherokee unit soon to help control my body roll even more. I'm lifted a bit and it feels it rolls a little too much yet....

Judging by how far the links are from his springs, I'd guess he's not lifted much. Not enough to require extended links. Stock length should be fine and I second the Moog recommendation.

I'm still stock height but plan to get a lift in the next year or two. I'll probably just get whatever cheap ones I can find and upgrade when I get a lift. Ya rust is pretty bad here on the east coast lol.

Mine looked close to yours. I replaced with Tomken quick disco's. Seeing as everything ( nuts/bolt ) break when I try to losen. I just tightened them a SNAP the was the easest part of the job.
As far as SAFTY while driving. Well don't take turns as fast as normal, never square off your corners, I ran mine without the sway bar links all weekend driving in very tight curvy Mnt. Passes and had no problems, just alot of body roll.
Wheeling with sway bar connected will mash up the bushing ( for the sway bar ) and create alot of play in the sway bar anyway, so best to get disconnect IMHO
