X2 on the aussie lockes only heard good things. Also if your want to go to lockers i would swap the back axle for a ford 8.8 lot stronger and already has locker in it.

I run an aussie up front, works great. My buddy runs one front and rear, with 33's on the street, and 35's on the trail. for the money, you cant beat em. Do some research, there are lots of reviews out there on each type

I definitely recommend a lunchbox locker for best price vs. reliability. You can go 2 different directions with this. You can just buy LockRites front and rear for your existing axles or you can upgrade to the newer 29 spline axles for your Chrysler 8.25 and buy Aussie Lockers front and rear. You save a little cash by going with the Aussies and I speak from personal experience when I say these things are tuff as nails!! You'll have a little bit stronger set of axles if you upgrade to the 29 spline axles, too.

Ive got an 8.8, its open. What locker are you talking about? Many of them came with limited slips (which kind of works, if you repack the clutches real tight)

i would suggest a selectable for the front. reason is in bad weather the assie or lunch box or lock rite or what ever you want to call them type will cause some issues in wet or snowy weather like no steering or wandering. they are ok for the rear but in front you are going to want a set up like the eaton e locker or ox or arb if you are serious about the front one.but if the rig is only offroad then you may be ok with the steering loss

Front Lockers
If you do not have hubs you can unlock, front lockers should be limited to strictly off road IMHO. Driving in the winter with a front locker makes engaging four wheel drive very exciting at any speed.
If you can save up for a selectable, you will be much happier. I just got an Eaton E-Locker, and off road it is amazing. You can still feel the diff at hard turns even when not engaged, but on snowy roads I think it will be fine.
Spendy, but I wanted to go to stronger 30 spine axles, so I broke the bank.
