Default need help with my attena

when i bought my jeep it had a power antenna. the motor was stripped. i replaced, still had electrical problems going up and down, peplaced it again and same problems. then i peplaced it with the factory power motor and still having problens, i even changed the relay. i cant find the problem but i found the fix. a fixed antenna, one that doesnt go uup and down.

but my question is do they make them for a 1990 cherokee. the the beazel that goes around it?

Sure your 1990 should be the same as my 1991 and I bought my antenna through crutchfield and it came the needed adapter and all and fit like it should.

Yes it did. Mounted just like the factory one did. If you aren't sure you could always find an XJ that is a base model and buy the standard fixed antenna from the JY.

my 90 came with a fixed antenna, but I took it off cause I don't need a radio and the part of the fender where it comes out of was dented and the antenna mount was broke.

Check the junkyard. the one i go to around here has tons of anteannas and mounts lying on the ground because the person who took the fender it was attached to didnt want it.

i got both of mine out of the junkyard. they looked to me when i was looking through the several XJ's out there that they would interchange you just need the whole thing starting with the cable that goes into the cabin to the antenna itself
