Default what is going on with my sway bar links!!???

Ok, I have an 87 XJ 4.0L,auto with a 3" lift, spacer front, blocks rear.( I know to much metal, not enough spring!! lol) I noticed my front sway bar links are almost touching my springs!! I noticed they were close when I got it, but since I put the lift on, they are extremely close!! And one is closer than the other!? Is my sway bar bent?? , I know the links could possibly be bent, but has anyone encountered this?? This has only has to last till I get the money to put on a 5.5" full lift kit!! Any suggestions??

I might be wrong, but from reading since I've been on here I think you need to change/modify your trac bar.

Well, I have the same problem, and what I have been reading about this problem, is that you have to either extend the sway bar links, or buy disco's for that size lift. When you lift the jeep the sway bar lifts with it, but the links stay in the same, so it actually puts your sway bar at the wrong angle. I'm also very tired right now, so I hope this makes since. I'm going to buy some disco's, and new bushings for mine. I think that I saw this on: http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/ Good Luck
