Default What did you do with the airbag ball thing?

Its right behind the front bumper. I'm about to put new bumpers on. Did you relocate it? Or put it behind your new bumper?

I believe that black vacuum canister is for dash vents to work not airbags. I would relocate and keep it

That is the vacuum resivour, your Heat will only work out defrost and you will pry lose cruise control if you disconnect it.

Most people just relocate it to the engine compartment, thats my plan when I get around to doing my new bumper.

I just tossed mined mine in the passengers side of the engine compartment (right of coolant tank in pic). The hose was long enough and I can just pick it up and set it elsewhere to change plugs or whatever.

Anyone? Do I disconnect the hose off the vac ball then when I find a place to put it just stick it back on?

Yup and you can add any tube you need for length.

I relocated mine between the Battery and the Fuse/Relay box on my '99.

I trimmed down the plastic vacuum hose to about the right length then zip tied it to the battery tie down bracket.
