Default What Color Is My Jeep?

Okay so my Jeeps clear coat and paint haven't been the best looking over the last couple years and ive decided to have it repainted soon. The only thing is I honestly don't know what color exactly it is. Its a 1989 Cherokee Laredo if that has to do with anything. Oh and don't let the pictures fool you, the drivers side clear is better than the passenger side and the picture of the back of the jeep is when it was wet from the car wash.

P.S.: The paint code is usually located on the driver's side door jam data panel but it could also be stamped in front of the radiator or on the firewall.

That's hilarious. I clicked this thread thinking there'd be a post about being color blind, but, now I'm wondering the same thing...

Looks custom. See if the original paint code even exists on that sticker F1Addict mentioned

It's a deep dark red right?

If so, it looks very similar to my 87 which is "BD - Grenadine" (BD is the code) But yeah, check for the code. it might be on the tag in the engine compartment firewall drivers (left) side.

Yeah check the paint code on the door,If its not close or looks like it been repainted try a little sand paper on a door jam or place no one will see.If you sand it and you see a different color that's the factory color.

Why is there a "High Output" emblem on the tailgate of an 89?

Good catch. Interesting...

Try paintscratch.com

And put in your info. It shows paint color names and codes for a certain year.

Off topic i know, but with the black tail light covers your insurance company may bail in a rear end collision.
ETA: Just noticed somebody already did.

Never understood people blacking out their tail lights... nothing says "rear end me" more.

It's a stupid kid thing. I'm going LED's and polished lenses and these punks are tinting them. Go figure..... I want my lights to be seen, not barely be seen.
