Default what axle?

so i'm going to purchase the 4.5" lift kit from rusty's offroad, but i need to know which axle i've got. whats the best way to know for sure?

aaaand nevermind...just as with everything else, when you ask the question, you find the answer youre looking for. ive got a '96 so it should have a chrysler 8.25 in it. thanks

dana 35 is ovaled on the bottom, chrysler 8.25 has a flat bottom, just look under your gas tank, it is well defined, flat, or not flat

just because it is a 96 doesnt mean it is, verify the flat bottom

those pics dont do much for me honestly, the d35 and 8.25 have a pretty close matching cover.

This works better.
