weird problem
Gotta weird problem that just started two days first my 97 XJ (189500 miles) was running rough like either it was not getting enough fuel or air to run but it drove fine, so i went and got some gumout cleaner (pretty much like sea foam) and ran it thur the intake and all kinds of grayish smoke come pouring out the tail pipe that fixed the hesitation a bit but its still there and now the engine still runs after i remove the key from couple seconds to 5 mins also after it finally shuts off my gauges are all still on and now a check engine light came on p1698. Check the relays good fuses good. Any thoughts?

Well its the ignition i jump the efan to run when the key was turned and it still ran after i took the key out.
