That vacuum line behind the battery is for the cruise control servo.

Cruiser's right. The only positive thing about the OCOD (Orange Can of Death) is the texture on the can.

Just wanted to say thanks. I have the same Vac line near the battery, but it was plugged. Also answered the question as to why my Cruise doesn't work, vacuum line not hooked up and no cruise control servo in the vehicle.

Not trying to hijack, just wanted to say thanks.

From there the next connection is by the ac refrigerant lines onthe firewall,there should be a tee and a small line,that is for your ac and heat controls and from the tee it continues and connects to the intake manifold vacuum port.
