There's a magnet under the driver seat. It's between the motor, and transmission, above the drive shaft.
We pulled the motor an replaced freeze plugs and now in the reinstall process we can't find where it goes. I know it seems simply seeing how short it is. But I can't find where to mount it!
(Pics to come) I had to take a brake got aggrevated.

Me thinks Call-_me-Jordan has a 2001 XJ. The TPS harness routing on the '00 & "01 Heeps are different than the '99, and back, XJ's.
Perhaps if Mr. Call-_me-Jordan had stated what year, engine, transmission, and body model Jeep he was working on it would have helped.

This. The CPS is known to fall out of where its supposed to be. Take it from someone who found out personally, reroute the damn thing if its anywhere near the exhaust manifold.

I got an 01 auto. I didn't know it was relevant to the motor and trans I just knew I couldn't find where it went. Mine definatly isn't by the manifold.
Off-original topic.
Can you help me find where these hook up.
Just to the rear of the battery.

This other one attaches to the firewall.

Point of attachment on firewall. The one on my Index finger, not my thumb.
