Default Weird Issue

1999 jeep cherokee 4.0 auto replaced thermostat 195* flushed entire system burped and after a 10 mile drive this is what it stays at. Any ideas why it runs this cold

I replaced the thermostat 3 times thermostat housing Temp sensor upper heater core hose upper rad. hose fresh coolant new 16Lb cap what could it be

Hmm, since you say you replaced all that already, maybe the temp sensor is off? Or maybe your gauge is off. Has it ever went higher?

If i let it idle for like 10 to 15 minutes it will hit 210 but once i drive it will go back down the that temp

You should try a search on here for overcooling, t stat is correct temp? Really not sure what it could be

Might try one of two things

First is my recommendation, if you replaced all of that I would just go ahead and replace the temp sending unit. On the bell housing to the right.

Second is the old Cherokee trick of touching your battery wires together for about a second or two, it will reset your ECU.
