weird buzz after shut off

weird buzz after shut off

Greetings and hello. I've an '01 XJ. I've recently noticed a strange electrical buzzing/grinding noise that happens occasionally after shutting off the engine. It seems to come from from the driver side dash near the headlight ****. Anyone have an idea as to what this might be?

Just a guess, what first comes to mind, is vacuum leakage from the brake booster.

Mine did this, make sure your turn signal stalk is in the center.

Mine does it if you shut it off with the headlights still on it’s some kind of twilight setting

Yes, mine has the courtesy delay off headlights, but it doesn't make noise when I shut off the engine. It will if I open the door with the keys still in the ignition.
