after i turn off my 96 sometimes it makes a really crazy noise from like the light switch and that black box under the hood that the wires run to. also if i turn it off with the hids on and not the halogens they go into crazy strobe light mode right before turning off whats the deal

 

Sounds like the valet headlight feature. I forget exactly how this works but something like if you have your headlights on when you turn the key off and then turn off your headlights they'll stay on for about 30 seconds. If you leave the switch on (as you forgot to turn it off) you'll get a loud buzzing sound to remind you to turn off your lights. Maybe it's possible that your's is malfunctioning- could have something to do with having hids?

 

mine does something similar. when i turn the car off, it sounds like some sort of vacuum or fan with something in it. i have a 95 sport. the headlights flicker on and off but then stop after a few minutes. i can make them stay on by holding the hi beam switch. if this sounds like the same problem, let me know if ya got it fixed and what it took, please.

 

My weird noise is a gurgling sound that comes from behind the dash when I turn my A/C off.
