Default Wanting to stall...again

So I thought I had my issue fixed after i cleaned my throttle body. Was running perfect, but today i made my xj work a lot harder than normal, and it is back to its old ways again. If i let off the gas, it almost stalls then recovers, or just flat out stalls. It starts up with very low rpm but builds up quick and idles fine.

After I cleaned my throttle body, I ran fuel injector cleaner through figuring if the throttle body was so dirty, my injectors may be gunked up too. what could my issue be? the iac was cleaned before i did the throttle body, but didnt make a difference.

This is my dd, and I really need to get this figured out. Figured I should make a new thread, the old one was messy and all over the place. Thanks

1. Load test your battery. A marginal battery can absolutely result in stalling

2. Test your "throttle position sensor"

3. Be sure tuneup hardware is fresh. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter

Kk I will do the load test tomorrow.

This morning a blizzard put a lot of snow up in my radiator/front of the engine, and it triggered a CEL and my battery charge was sitting right on the edge of the red. when i got all the snow out, the CEL went off and the battery charge went back to normal. My dad thinks a lot of snow got into my air filter, which is giving me the same issues I was having last week with the really dirty throttle body.

My jeep is working fine again today. i took it to autozone, i had no codes. They did the battery test, and the guy was amazed how well my jeep started because the battery was only at 47% charge. All he could suggest was clean the battery and let it charge overnight. The alternator tested good also.

Could my issue of been my jeep was working to hard with the dirty throttle body, causing the battery to strain then causing me to stall when off the gas? Then after I cleaned it, it ran fine, but since I was playing in the snow I put to much stress on the battery again, and brought back the old symptoms?

my 99 xj has a similar issue. it will hesitate and shudder and act like it is going to cut out. it will only do it at low idle. once the throttle kicks to high idle, the issue goes away. so far i have replaced:

plugs/wires
cap/rotor
IAC valve
TPS
flucshed gas lines
checked pump/filter assembly

HAVE NOT REPLACED:

o2 sensor
coil
fuel pump assembly

for a while the issue went away! huzza! but hen it came back... and now it will, very randomly, happen again. as i stated before, it will only do it at low idle, which makes me think the the TPS or IAC valve is still funky... i got the IAC off line, and it was marked down to cheap from very expensive... so i wonder if i didnt get a bunk part... but it wont throw any codes, which is its own issue... if it threw a code, id have a direction to go, but till then.........

No disrespect man, but there is an option to create your own thread. I see you have been copying and pasting on every stall related thread...
