Default vibrating....

Hey all, been trying to figure this out.. jeep has all new U joints.. recently upped from low pinion, to high pinion front axle, steering is all tight, aligned, new tires... but I'm still getting vibrations while driving... 3" lift on 31" tires.... my only other guess is the T-case.. It vibrates pretty rough on regular to aggressive acceleration... any insight is much appreciated

I'm assuming the vibrations are coming from the center of the Jeep? I mean it could the TC, but that's a small lift. Check your motor mounts like he said and see if that's the problem. Otherwise, think about a TC drop or an SYE if you plan to go bigger at some point.

Also how are your tires worn? Are they even?

Tires are fairly new and wearing evenly... I did a 1" TC drop when I lifted it, and I don't plan on going higher, the pinion angles aren't too harsh either... I'll check the mounts.. i can feel the vibe in the pedal, if I pop into neutral while it does it, it stops... which could mean tranny mount.... or a plethora of other things

Hmmm so it's like a front end vibration?

Ah ok. You just caught my attention with the pedal stuff. I used to feel my DW with my gas pedal.

In that case, check all the mounts.

Nothing yet... been busy this week... I noticed the one bushing from where the sway bar attaches to the link is missing... all steering parts are tight, all the mounts i've looked at seem okay... hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to pull the front axles and double check the U-joints

Sway bar link shouldn't cause that. You don't even need sway bars haha. Check your drive shafts.

Check all your bushings in the front end. LCAs UCAs, Trackbar, etc.

Update!! Passenger wheel hub ***'y is shot (just replaced last year... under warranty... surprising it broke so quickly, considering it's a moog)

Aaand we think i was right, took for a test drive and crawled under, transfer case was piping hot... and I just replaced the juices in it recently... think something is wonky in there (fortunately my friend has one with less than 80k miles laying around I'm gonna snag for 80$)
