Vent Issues.
I have a problem with my 94 xj vents. I've noticed they blow air occasionally when on vent and not at all when on heat (Not sure about the different ac levels.) When the heat is on though it still heats up the inside, but it dosen't come through the vents.
I don't know, maybe I have a short or something, but I don't where to look first.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

it sounds like you have a vacuum leak or vacuum switch has gone bad,you would need to pull your climate control to look at the switch and check for leaks in the dash. it could also be clogged from the supply to the switch, make sure it is clear from vacuum bottle to climate control and heater control.

My '92 does the same. It only blows through the defrost vents on all settings. A friend told my he thinks it's vacuum controlled, but I haven't been able to find any vacuum leaks. ???

I had a similar prob on my 97. If you still have the stock bumper check behind it there is a black plastic ball with vac. lines that is part of the vent system check all the hoses and make sure that is all good One of my lines cracked at the end cut and reattached prob solved
