Default valve stem ??

kinda dumb but what kind of low profile valve stems are people using ? i ripped my valve stem in half yesterday , it caught on a branch while climbing over a fallen tree , luckly it didnt go all the the way flat and i was able to get home , but im really not trying to have this happen again

Have the tire store install ATV valve stems. They are short and stubby and will be harder to snag on rocks and trail hazards.

Think you have problems ... I had a problem with my stems melting in the sun(!!!) when the jeep sat for long - which was all the time. I run Cragar street locks and the long stems rested against lip on them, stressing the base of the stem. Sitting in the sun made the rubber real soft (hot metal wheel) and caused leaks in 2 of my stems. Ever heard any crap like this??? Anyway, I had to switch to shorter stems.

Back on topic ... if you have pics of those mounted on any wheel, post up. I'm still seeking options.

Yeah ain't that a surprise?!
What sux now is that the shorter stems now make it hard for me to fit my deflator on when I need to air down due to the lip on the Street locks. I love those wheels even tho they're heavy as sin. Ain't getting rid of 'em ...
