Valve Cover Gasket Replacement
Got an oil leak (very minor one) and am going to replace the valve cover gasket this weekend or next. Anything else in the general maintenance department i should consider doing while I got her apart, cleaning aside. No other issues, 147k miles on the original engine. She's an '01.

XX2 on what 1996sportXJ said.. very good idea! I'd suggest a good rubber gasket, like felpro. And just 'snug' the cover bolts.. overtightening is bad.. mm-kay?

Bolt grommets (should be included), CVV grommets and clean the top of the intake manifold off BEFORE you remove the cover. It's so easy to knock trash into the head when you're trying to clean the mating surface. The job is cake tho.
