Default valve cover gasket

Anyone have good experience with the Fel Pro for the 4.0s? I got everything, and it looks wider than the old one, which is bueno to me.

The valvetrain is clean ad hell. Happy bout that. 180,000 miles and still goin strong.

And ruh-roh, look what I did!

I'm not understanding your gasket problem.

I used a Felpro something-er-other. It's blue rubber. I like it because I didn't have to slop the whole thing up with RTV which would have messed up my sparkly refurbished valve cover, LOL.

Before...

After...

The blue Felpro gasket kit with, grommets, is an excellent choice.

One small thing Kmart...when are you going to clean up the rest of the engine to match that nice new VC paint job?

Yes! The blue Fel-pro is the one to get. It costs more but it's worth it.
