Post Vacum Ball

Hey guys i have another question for ya. I am getting ready to put on a new front bumper and i was wondering what to do with that vacum ball that is on the pass. side of the stock front bumper? Should i try to put it on the new bumper or find a spot to stick it? Here is a pic of my new bumper can't wait it comes 2marrow! Thanks

I would find somwhere under the hood to place it,in the bumper they are exsposed to the elements. Under the hood you can trace the lines easier as well when you do have leaks.

I did relocate mine to the area of my coil, yours is much different than mine. you can place it anywhere it will fit and not be damaged. When I relocated mine I used a different resevoir that looked like a stew can from an older jeep.
I think there some others on here that have done the same and read where one individual read a write up on it here or on naxja.

It controls the vent operation mainly. Such as moving from floor to defrost to dash vents, etc.

Have you noticed your air only blows out one set of vents?

The resevoir acts like a resevoir for your climate control doors and heater control valve, when you accelerate engine vacuum will drop to 0"-5" under load,if not for the bottle you would always have your vents closed off during heavy load on the engine, the bottle has a check valve in it to hold vacuum until engine vacuum comes back.
If you have a vacuum operated front axle it also controls that.
