yeah hmmm well i'm reading up on how hard it is to do a full size axle swap under a cherokee and its not looking to easy haha. mostly confusing. my buddy has a tj with full size axles underneath and it just looks like welding on new brackets and bolting stuff onto it is the hardest also gettin everything centered lol i guess i could just go off of his jeep if i have any problems. also would that arb carrier work for a front or rear axle or does it have to be specially for a front or rear axle?

Will work for either.

And if it's for a Dana 44, why not just find a XJ D44?

arent' xj d44 shorter then a say like an 79 ford dana 44? not sure, and i don't know why i wouldn't get a xj d44 just wanna go as wide as possible because i think it looks badass lol. also i found that rubicon express sells a tj axle bracket kit for about 400 bucks that comes with every bracket to put a custom axle under a tj tho...is an xj front end different?
