Bet you thought you would never need that stupid geometry you learned in high school. Well add a couple years of College geometry and you end up with a much better understanding of the concepts at work in your lifted Jeeps.
Yep the more I think about the more I want adjustable CA's...I won't do LA's unless I decide to go bigger and really I don't want to go bigger..I need to add a 3/4" spacer upfront since the front sits lower then the rear but other then that my lift is as high as I want and it's at about 4.5" all around once I had that spacer..

Yeah that geometry man I hated it but damn I wish I had paid closer attention...Good thing I took 2 Calc classes.. Was a good refresher on how geometry works.. I am thinking more then likely Adjustable CA's, CA lowering brackets and I should be golden. Get those CA angles down then get that axle shifted back forward how it should ride..I can it all at once when I put new axles in and well have a fun weekend..Then I can trim the fenders and ru 32's...

Make sure you get plenty of gussets on those lowering brackets as they are under a lot of stress when you add them. Leverage is what you need to think about with those.

Yeah I figure when I do I will be fabing up some bracing for added support.. One thing I hate about the XJ's on the frame side to mount LCA's it has some sort of a spacer in there that moves around and made it a real pain getting the LCA's in...so I tack welded a spot so it wouldn't move.. Sure hope it wasn't suppose to move for some stupid reason..

Don't remember any loose parts in any of the ones I have lifted so can't comment on your loose spacer OKC.

What method did you use COS? I can't see it being done in the Jeep unless you have a tool that can make it accessable I see it as near impossible.

A bushing press from AZ. It was not the appropriate tool, as there where no cups that really fit the bushings on the XJ. Like I said it was a major PITA!! Oh, and BFH was in the mix as well, as well as a torch!! HTH!!

I replaced mine a couple months ago using a ball joint press. Yeah i use that press for everything When i pressed them out, the center metal sleeve came out first and some of the bushing so there was a big hole in the middle. After you get some of the bushing and sleeve out it'll loosen the pressure of the outer metal sleeve so just take a flat head screwdriver and hammer and wack the outer casing inwards and it'll start to release itself. About 15 min per bushing is all it takes. I tried pressing the entire bushing out at once but it started to bend my press so i stopped. I guess they were seized a little.

pressing them in is easy if you have a press.

Would not work on mine. They were rusted in, and I like to never got them to come out. Torch, BFH, press, it didn't matter, they were in like Flynn!!

I soaked them with PB Blaster a couple times a day for about three days before the puller was applied and they eased right out like they wanted to leave the confines of the D30. Didn't even need the impact gun to turn the puller just a 1/2 inch ratchet and socket.
