I need some help please. What size bolts are on the back of the upper control arm. i need a aqnswer soon thank you!

M10x1.5 85mm for the frame side and M14x10 110mm for the axle side if I am not mistaken.

UCAs front and rear are both M10x1.5 75MM. Same as the track bar. Beware the flag nut inside the bracket/frame thing for the UCAs, many sockets have been lost trying to get it out.

It's the LCAs that are M14x2.0 110MM (leaf springs are 120MM).

All bolts and nuts are ISO Class 12.9. OE spec is flanged heads, if you can't find them (probably) make sure the washers you buy are hardened 12.9 or similar-fit SAE 8

Should be a 15mm.... You can't go put one on and figure that out?

It's a 2 day job to get the bolt size?

I guess "noggin pokin'" is a lost art and has been replaced by "question askin'".

Sockets come in sets for a reason. I did these two months ago and I have no idea.

Some of them are held all together on a rail or in a plastic box. You just shinny your little hiney under YOUR Jeep with the whole set and find the one that fits.......

It's not standardized either. Replacement bolts were something else, I couldn't even remember while I was working in the Jeep.

My replacement LCA bolts are 22mm head though. I remember this because I had to stop twice on the highway to tighten em

Dang all of these rude reply's. So What if I asked what size socket I would need. I was just making sure on every thing before I mistakenly strip the bolts.

The socket/wrench that "fits" is the one you need. If you can't tell which one that is, I question whether you should be working on a system as critical as front suspension of a motor vehicle that could be driven in the vicinity of innocent bystanders/motorists. .

Come on now. Buck up and do it yourself. Don't get all pissy after you ask for help in a big old hurry, and 2 days later haven't figured out what size wrench/socket you need.

That doesn't demonstrate a lot of effort on your part and the seasoned guys around here get worn out with that stuff. Makes them not want to help someone who depends more on a computer than his own senses.

Saying "I have no idea" is a lot more useful than giving you the wrong size, don't you think?

if you're worried about the size of a bolt/socket because you fear you'll strip it out then you probably shouldn't mess with parts that could potentially cause an accident

My replacement leaf bolts were 22mm, the originals were 21 I think. Harumph! Found a $15 set of sockets & 1/2" driver to match my impact wrench yesterday.
