Unfused wires for lights?!???
Trying to troubleshoot running lights that are not working on my 2000 Cherokee. I found an online Chilton's manual...and the wiring diagram...I believe...shows that wire from the battery to the headlight switch is not fused! Can anyone confirm that is true?? Where would I find that wire? And any opinions if I ought to add an in-line fuse???
THANKS!
THANKS!

The headlight switch has a circuit breaker inside it IIRC.

Thanks...any easy way to reset the circuit breaker? If I am going to tear it out of the dashboard, maybe I should replace the switch?? Any idea on the longevity of those switches??

Headlights work. Fornt parking lights and tail lights do not. Brake lights OK, too.
Chilton's online manual I found shows "circuit F34" feeds direct from battery to headlamp switch with no fuse. AFTER the switch, there are separate fuses for each left and right front and rear running lights. ALL do not work. (Did check fuses...) Am certain that the headlamp switch is the problem, but don't know how to reset it. Replacing the switch looks like a pain in the butt. Maybe its an easier job than it seems... Any of you done that??
Thanks!
