Another heat question
So I'm in nj and it's cold here now n my heat only blows warm air. I recently bought a Stant 195 thermostat gasket water pump belt flushed cooling system, disconnected heater core hoses and ran water through but no cleaner and not much pressure in hose . Can the thermostat be faulty? If I remove the Tstat completely would running it in the winter be bad and will my vehicle will i still get heat if it's out just to troubleshoot. Can hear blend door flapping shut don't believe it's that. And there's no heater control valve it's a 98. Basically I want to remove stat completely and see if it gets heat better as a troubleshoot? Sound like that will work? Also I don't like the vinegar idea but anybody else got any ideas for cleaner for the heater core?

Verify correct engine running temperature (200-210) using something other than the gauge on the dash and if running at a good temp flush the heater core again.
