Default U Joints?

While driving down the road I can hear sort of whistling noise seems to come from the front drivers side tire. Its not the noise when your brakes are starting to go bad. Was told it could be a bearing. On 4x4 though I thought hubs were sealed. If Jeeps are like my 4x4 Chevy. Also when I turn to the right I hear a horrible grinding noise, sounds like metal on metal. Only when I turn to the right. When my Ford started making that noise my axle shaft broke? I'm guessing U Joints but if anyone has already had this problem I could use some help. Thanks.

The Pic is of my old Ford Im trying to avoid what happened that time lol.

Check your pass. side ujoint. Mine did the same thing when I turned right and I checked my ujoints and my pass. side ujoint had almost 3/8" of play

Edit: and that whistling noise very well could be a wheel bearing. Yeah, we have sealed hub bearings.

Yeah, basically spin the tire back and forth and watch the inner axle shaft to see if there's any play.

this is where I would look for the whistling noise. mine made that noise a few months ago and just replaced both of them.
