ive read alot of the threads on the hood vents. but there all mostly pics. i dont need to know how to do it. but i was wondering where i could get some. i looked online at my local autozone. and cant seem to find them. maybe my keywords are off? but i was wondering what a good kind would be to get. also. if i put a hood scoop on. then vents behind the scoop. how would that work out?

Don't know about the scoop, but from what i understand, lots of guys use the hood vents off of 90's LeBaron's. Here's a pretty good thread i just found:

there area few options with vents - the LeBaron is really popular but here's a link to what I consider a much cleaner look (I copied it from MrJCRod on the forum).

Materials - door trim from Pepboys, Vegetable grilling plates from Home Depot, Permatex's "The Right Stuff" gasket maker, and one can of spray paint. Total cost was about $20.
used a dremel to cut the holes - takes some time due to the small wheel, but it's a much cleaner cut than using a full size cutting wheel.

The best hood vent mod I've seen thus far, the guy used BBQ grates (I know!) with the round holes, painted them engine black (hi heat), undermounted with just black silicone adhesive and then trimmed the holes with door guard in black...it cost him all of less than $30 and you can get all the stuff you need at Home Depot and your local autoparts store. Gonna do that to mine if overheating occurs this summer, but thus far, I run at only 120 ish, and no the sensor's not broken.
