Two front windows wont go down
It's two different problems, my driver side window will go down but won't go up, I have to sit there and play around with the switch until it decides to go up. My passenger side window won't even move, no down or up no matter what I do. I checked all fuses and pulled apart the door to check for any unplugged leads. any idea to what they could be? Thanks for help in advance

I just ordered the whole switch assembly for my 4 door Cherokee. It was $68.00 delivered. I got it here:http://www.switchdoctor.net/jeep-che...1997-2001.html

thats not sayin enough.. whatd you try? the herness bypass or the 12v bypass? ya cant just stick the paperclip in there and expect it work, make sure its actually making good contact with the contacts. and if the 12v bypass didnt work then make sure grounds are good and test all wires continuity i guess. then if all else fails buy the new switch. rockauto has em for like 140ish, so the link posted is a ****ing steal!

It could be a broken wire...they usually break between the door and body, where they flex every time you open the door. Time to get out the multimeter and go to work.
