turn signal doesn't turn off
lately when i turn on my left turn signal, it won't turn itself back off after i turn... it just keeps blinking. my right turn signal is fine. any idea what is wrong? same thing is wrong with the cherokee my dad is trying to sell too and it's the same year and trim [94 sport] could it be something with that year and model?

Yeah mine doesn't work in either direction l or R. It is the internal clockspring in the column. I have decided to live with it as I don't want to tear the column apart to get to it.

My hazards come on when I click the left turn into place, if I just hold it there it works normal. Works normal for right turns though.....

I just fixed my '92 that didnt cancel the left turn signal. Pull the steering wheel, and you will see the blinker mechanism in there. There are 2 springs. The top one is for right turn cancel and the bottom is left turn cancel. Replace the broken spring. I got mine free at the local you-pull-it yard since I purchased a bunch of other doodads too.
