Is this true?
Hi,
Following this thread .... I went to the garage, the guy checked it, there was no leaking and the smoke was OK, but he said that the problem was in this part ( see photo, I don't know the name) ... could this happen?
Sorry to

The CCV valve is a 2.6? MM orifice with a check valve to prevent backfiring into the crank case.
I guess I didn't gather what your actual problem is. Bedtime!
Hardened O rings in the oil filter adapter is a common cause for oil leaks.

i think i would just add oil and keep an eye on it maybe it wasnt topped of when u changed it, you also didnt mention how many miles you have drivin on the oil 1 quart in a month is certainly nothing to loose sleep over

OK is the oil level dropping? IIRC, last time I changed my oil & filter with 6 quarts I was still 1/2 quart low. (I know doesn't sound right). Anyway...you are sure it WAS up on the mark? You do know to check it with the engine off, level, after it's been sitting...a minute or so hot, or longer if it's just been run cold?
Of course if it's using oil and it's not leaking, or is in your coolant, it's burning it. It might be hard to see the bluish smoke. If you actually have someone follow you they might see it. After "decelerating" (using the engine to slow you down, down a hill), after doing that, if it smokes when you hit the gas you can suspect the rings. Valve steam seals might make more of a puff when you first fire it up after parking it hot. (after a bit...1/2 hr for the oil to run down past the seals into there might do).,
Yea, ^. one quart/1000 miles..OK, but I'm doing better than that with over 260K
Anyway, get it right on the mark. Note the mileage, then see what you got from there. My .02!

First pull the old one and see if it's clogged (should rattle when you shake it). If it's clogged you can flush it clean with carb cleaner, gasoline, etc. or just buy a new one.

It's not a PCV valve and it doesn't rattle. It's a CCV connector.
Arab, is your air filter oil soaked?
