Default Trouble removing T-case fill bolt

1 3/16 is the right size socket right for a 93 cherokee sport? Fill bolt is super tight and the bolt head is so shallow/thin that the socket keeps slipping off before it breaks loose. Maybe a wrench would work better?

Grab a dead blow and give it a smack. Not too hard just a good smack.

Then once you get it out put some anti seize on there.

pretty sure its metric like 33mm or something. I have a socket specifically for the TC plugs but I dont feel like seeing what size it is

I used a crescent wrench for mine. Boy it was tough!

I had to use a hammer and chisel to spin mine out. I put a new one in afterwards.

I have the right socket but the problem is the bolt head is too shallow, if I can get something to get a good bite on bolt, I can turn it with a bottle jack, I'm thinking maybe a flare wrench if they make one in that size.

A big heavy hammer full of sand. They have them at hardware stores.
