hey man I wasn't trying to argue with you. But, if you want to get technical about it, then your new post doesn't have anything in there about releasing the button before WOT or after WOT.

My original question was when to release the button. I was here to get everyone's opinions on what procedure they used and if it worked for them. I gave what worked for me and what did not. Your first post with the pic of the manual didn't have the specific thing I asked for ( which is the whole problem- all manuals have vague information and never say when to release the button). My reply was not a smart comment, I was just stating a fact that it left out the information I needed.

So go ahead and post all the pics you want of manuals, but if they don't answer my question of "at what point is the button release -before or after WOT," then they are useless to me.

well i think i found my answer on another thread.

two people who posted said they had problems (hard shifts and jumps) after doing it with release button, then WOT and it worked for them with Hold button, WOT. one of which has same year model as myself.
