transfer case linkage
Next week I will be pulling my aw4 mates to a np242 in order to change a freeze plug. I plan on removing the NSS from under the hood. How do I disconnect the linkage on the driver side between the transmission and transfer case?
I have searched but have not been able to find out how.

Under the carpet on the driver side of the 4x4 shift lever are 4 screws that undo the linkage beneath the truck.
They are On the side of the hump not the floor.
